Burnie Coastal Art Group Inc. proudly presents the 47th TASART EXHIBITION 2025

The Burnie Coastal Art Group Inc was formed in 1952 and owns a Gallery and Studio at 211 Mount Street Upper Burnie.

TASART assists with the upkeep of these facilities as well as promoting artists and their work.

Burnie City Coincil Major Award 2024 - Nest Box by Richard Klekociuk

Judge - Kit Hiller

For 15 years Kit Hiller painted large watercolour portraits. Since the mid 90’s she has painted oils; her subject matter is the landscape of the North-West Coast of Tasmania. She also paints still lives and portraits. In 2009 Kit won the Portia Geach Award for Female portrait painters for the third time.
