Painting Giovanna

Recently members of the BCAG were fortunate to have the Deputy Mayor of Burnie Giovanna Simpson sit as a model for the day. Nine artists drew and painted Giovanna in two themes, Indian and an Italian. Members of the public were invited to experience the process as the artists produced their rendition of the model. Artists will finish the works and there will be a showing in the Gallery on a date to be advised. Giovanna will choose a painting to hang on her wall and the public will have the opportunity to purchase.
